Let me share an ancient love story here. It is one of my favourite stories. Every year on Qi Xi (literally translates as The Seventh of Night), a couple are able to reunite once a year. It was said that the boy named Niulang (means cowherd or constellation Altair) lived with his brother and sister- in-law. However, his sister-in-law was mean to him. She gave him nine cows and asked him come back with ten. If he did not do that, then he shall never return.


He was not Houdini. How could he turn nine cows into ten? Frustrated, he met with an elder who told him to take care of an aged Ox on the mountain. He did so, and in return, the Ox revealed himself as a deity. He told him about seven fairies who took bath in a nearby pool. So he went there.


Destiny made between him and the youngest sister of the seven fairies. Her name was Zhinü. It means weaver girl or the constellation Vega. They met and fell in love. After that, they married with two children.


However, their marriage upset the Goddess of Heaven or some version as Empress of Heaven because she married a mortal. Other version will note due to her marriage, she no longer have time weaving clothes. Therefore, the empress forbids them to stay together.

Niulang was sad as his wife left him. His love touched the Ox which told him if he peeled off its hide and wore it; he could fly to heaven to look for his wife.

When he reached the heaven, he finally sees her. But the goddess found out and using her hairpin, she scratched an endless river between them. They could only look at each other at the end of each side. It was said the river is Milky Way. Thus, Niulang took care of their two children afar.


Love can touch stonewall. Their love touched the Magpies and the empress. She allowed them to meet on The Seventh of Night every year. During that single day, magpies from all over the world will gather and form a bridge which Chinese called it “the Magpies’ bridge”. Hence, Niulang and Zhinü are reunited in that night.

It also said in the legend if it rains at the night of Qi Xi, it means there are the tears of the couple.

So, are the place you stay is raining? Try to imagine the bridge of Magpies and cherish your lover

A mysterious place where planes and ships are often missing. The causes vary, and include severe weather, sudden rising of fog, extraordinary electromagnetic or the ancient ruin of Atlantis. Whatever it is, now the cause of missing ships and planes has a new definition.

The Bermuda Triangle is a mystery place for numerous planes and ships vanishing. Among other, the notorious disappearance of the famous Flight 19 and Mary Celeste are some of the examples of the vanishing. Many theories propounded that the causes are sudden storm, mystery fog bank, and methane gas. Others suggested the strange disappearances since centuries ago were related to an ancient kingdom– Atlantis where pieces of the stone were discovered under the Bimini road. Nevertheless, time dimension is another propounded theory where The Triangle is the time portal to ships and planes. They were disappeared into the 3rd dimension.



In this book, author Bruce Gernon has suggested a never before theory—electromagnetic. Mr. Gernon himself has been experienced the time twisted incident twice. He researched into the phenomenon upon his experiences and with other pilots who had been undergone the almost same strange phenomenon such as Charles Linberg., he finally came out with the theory.

Usually, they noticed, a fog will form in no time and it sticks to the planes or ships and gradually blanketed them into a grayish, sometime lightning cloud. Following the incident, they noticed the electrical equipment
will be dysfunctional. Compass will run erratically, people will feel uneasiness, dizzy and panic. The first time he experienced the incident was when he piloted with his father and a friend.


On December 4th 1970, they flew from Florida to Andros Island. It was an usual flight routine but he never forget about the happening in his life. They were trapped by a huge grayish cloud. It seemed like a tunnel where the flight was blanketed inside. Mr. Gernon was only able to peek through the tunnel of cloud. The situation onboard was getting more erratic. He knew he had to lose the cloud but wherever the flight goes, it followed.

Luckily for Mr. Gernon, he was able to control his plane and managing it carefully out of the cloud. After landing, he discovered that the usual journey of 75 minutes flight, he reached destination for only 47 minutes. After years of researching, he proposed a new theory – electromagnetic fog. In his opinion, the ever expanded cloud is the result of the electromagnetic of planes and boats. When surrounded by the cloud, either the pilot will experience what Mr. Gernon has experienced which is either travel longer or shorter, or worst, becomes another disappeared flights in the region. He also thought that Flight 19 had the same experience as he did.


And in 1996, he once again encountered with the mystery fog and managed to survive with his calm composure. After two times of narrow escapes, he finally has an explanation of the phenomenon.

Usually, in world cup,Italy is the best team to watch for their handsome players like Roberto Baggio, Fabio Cannavaro in long silky hair. But this world cup, I am quite disappointed for numerous reasons:

First, the score ended in 1-0 or so.
Secondly, I don't see any handsome Italian players ( for eye pleasure),
Third, come on, this is world cup, isn't it supposed to be more goals and more excitement especially the happy hour starts at 7.30pm and ended in 4.30am? sacrifies sleeping time and draw results or 1-0 are all we've got?

Honestly, I miss the long hair Cannavaro, with Dino Baggio, with roberto baggio,Del Piero with his beautiful smile are among others.



今天《足球报》的文章触及我心深处，让我莫名的同意。我是意大利的球迷，从98年开始看见队长cannavaro后，就对他那一头飘逸的头发/俊朗的五官和迷死人的眼睛给吸引着，同时也对r.baggio和 D.baggio的脚下细腻的技术为之惊叹。



可是这一届，让我望穿秋水的意大利帅哥全都不见了，不好意思，托蒂我实在不觉得他帅，虽然我也是罗马球迷。每一次看到gattuso我就摇头，长发加上满脸的胡子，实在让我觉得天气很热，难道他一点也不觉得？看来看去，只有gilardino可以多看几眼，视觉上的享受真的不如前几届。

这一届的世界杯，实在很闷！几乎每一场都1-0收工，要不就和球，我不禁怀疑，着真是世界杯吗？看俱乐部踢球还比世界杯过瘾，实在有点内疚。不过好戏在后头，有谁会预测德国以4-0的狂风落叶会被塞尔维亚以1-0将住？还有西班牙0-1栽在巧克力火锅里？关于法国，在预料之内，并不看好法国能再出现像98年的资态，少了基单，法国什么都不是！

南非世界杯莫非真的不是非洲球队的那杯茶？尼日利亚在以往的世界杯都被认为是支强队，而且队员们高大强壮的体格，和优秀的脚法也是一支飞鹰队，可是这届的世界杯，尼日利亚却连输两场，小组赛出线已经有问题，可能就此提早告别世界杯。
开赛不久，尼队就攻进一球，眼看飞鹰这场比赛应该可以看到非洲之鹰展翅高飞，谁知半场不到，尼队的球员被罚下场，刚要展翅的飞鹰折翼了半边的翅膀。希腊攻进一球，一比一，和球。
下半场，无论再如何努力，始终少一个人，希腊也得到机会，再攻进一球，二比一。上一场英勇的门将落寞的背影和以往的尼日利亚，呈两个版本。
除了尼日利亚，另一头非洲狮喀麦隆也在首战败下仗来，似乎和以往世界杯雄狮的表现有点不呈。
难道非洲球队在非洲都红不起来？巧合？在熟悉的大陆反而提不起劲？重重因素，飞鹰雄狮都发威不起，球迷也看得不过瘾，到目前为止，也只有德国和阿根廷的四粒进球洋溢着世界杯，告诉我们，这才是世界杯！
